October 2026 Quarterly Update

"The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way." - Psalm 37:23

This quarter EverGo has seen answered prayers, growth, confirmation, and even touched other parts of the world. EverGo has been moving and growing these last 8 months, and although I am doing all the work towards building this ministry business, it's not Amanda. This is God. Every time I doubt that this new path I am on may not be the Lord's voice leading, He gives me confirmation. He shows me that I am needed, that missionaries and ministries need EverGo. This is not me. This is God. My prayer going forward is that He will equip me as fast as the company grows. Eight months ago, EverGo became a name, defined its heart, and started building a clientele. That is not Amanda — that was God. In its first year, EverGo had the opportunity to share its heart in Brazil, to several missionaries there. A footprint has been left, seeds sown, and we wait to watch God water and grow.

July

Our last update took EverGo to Chicago, IL to share our heart and what we do with other Deaf missionaries and ministries. This quarter started with the announcement of an amazing opportunity that I just had to jump out and take. A week into July, I saw an announcement on Facebook, from a page I follow, about this amazing opportunity that anyone could apply for (but limited to 50 seats). I didn't even hesitate. I started working to get things together for the application and applied. I had to wait until mid-September to find out that I was accepted! For those of you who are familiar with the Kendrick Brothers, the makers of Fireproof, War Room, The Forge, and their most recent remake of Flywheel (filmed in Brazil!), you know they write and create great movies. Every year, they have what they call the "Heart of the Filmmaker Intensive," a week-long, hands-on training experience for Christian filmmakers. It's very limited, and I was privileged to be accepted and will attend this event in November! I am so excited to grow my filmmaking skills, to learn from those more experienced, and to connect with other Christian filmmakers.

Right before our church Deaf Camp, one of the college teachers came to me asking if I could design a cover for a textbook they had written for their class. I accepted, and the design turned out well! I decided to add book cover designs as a new service to EverGo.

At the end of July, my church took a small Deaf team and me on a mission trip to Brazil. We visited Deaf missionaries in two different cities — one week in Ribeirão Preto, and one week in Goiânia. Brazil is a beautiful country, and between serving in their services, we had a little time to sightsee as well. The weather in this time of the year is winter, so after a hot and humid GA summer, temperatures in the low 50s/60s to mid-80s felt wonderful. But the real highlight was spiritual — I had the opportunity to meet 6 other missionaries and hear their stories. And praise the Lord, 10 souls were saved while we were there!

August

Things got back to normal at my church (I currently serve as church secretary) as we got back into our routines. I saw an email about a pastors' conference that was coming up in October, and I almost thought nothing of it, until I saw something about vendor tables. EverGo could go! The only time EverGo was a vendor was at back in June for DBFA (Deaf Baptist Fellowship of America) in Chicago, but at the time I was also managing our church and pastor's book table, so I wasn't able to fully focus on EverGo at that event. If I were to attend this one, I could be there 100% with EverGo. I prayed about it for a week or two, then decided to go.

September/October

September signified the completion of EverGo Media's first video client! Their video turned out beyond what they had expected, and they were very pleased. You can watch it here. It's an amazing feeling and a tremendous blessing that someone trusted me enough to help them share their story. To use my skills to tell their story well. I am so thankful for the opportunity, and even now praying for my next ministry to serve in this way. September also marked another milestone for EverGo, this time as a promotional campaign. Our ad showed up for the first time in the Silent Word Newspaper to help spread the word to other Deaf pastors, missionaries, and ministries about what we do and how we can help them tell their stories.

In October, I attended the Southwide Baptist Fellowship, the pastors' conference in Milford, Ohio, that I had heard about in August. I had a great time, and though I was praying to sign on a new client, it still felt like I was dreaming when I actually landed a new client right there at the conference! Not only that, but I met and talked to so many pastors, missionaries, and ministries! Several were interested in EverGo and could see how we could help.

I said earlier how the Lord is constantly giving me confirmation that this is the way I am to go. Between my Brazil trip and the Southwide conference, I now have a couple of Deaf ministries interested in EverGo, plus the new people I met at the conference, and when I put all my leads together in a list, wow, that is not me. That is the Lord using my skills, my new ministry business to help others share the gospel. This is Him! Surrender your will to Him and let Him direct your path.

"Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." - Psalm 37:7
